The first National Day of Racial Healing (NDORH) event
in State College was held on February 2. It was a
conversation to identify racial barriers.
Sponsored by AAUW State College, the Community
Diversity Group, the Borough of State College, and the
Borough’s Racial Equity Advisory Commission, the event
was well received and drew over seventy attendees.
The follow-up event, identifying strategies to break down
racial barriers, will take place on Friday, April 12.
It will again be held in the State College Borough
Building, Room 201, and includes lunch. Make your
