The Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) State College Chapter is sponsoring 2024 Empower, an in-person event for women in science, on February 3rd from 9:00 am–5:00 pm at the Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Building (Shortlidge Road). It is open to high school students, undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, faculty, staff, and community members pursuing, working in, or interested in the STEM fields. The event is funded in part by AAUW State College.
