Read Between the Wines is organized by the Membership Committee and is a social in-person gathering, centered on fiction and nonfiction books that focus on women and the issues that affect them. Meet-ups are usually held on weeknights in the early evening.
On Wednesday, August 27 (6:00-7:00 pm), the group will discuss The Briar Club by Kate Quinn, described as “a haunting and powerful story of female friendships and secrets in a Washington, D.C. boardinghouse during the McCarthy era.”
