Volunteer at the Sale

The AAUW State College Used Book Sale is a community event and in addition to AAUW State College members, we need community support to make it happen. Shifts vary between 2–4 hours in length. Positions include:

  • Helping with Move-in Night (Thursday prior to the sale)
  • Keeping book tables tidy and restocking where needed
  • Serving as a cashier at the check-out area
  • Making sure people are following the Code of Conduct as a Sale Monitor
  • Guarding the doors to track shopper numbers so we don’t exceed capacity
  • Checking receipts as shoppers exit
Volunteers Needed

Volunteer at the Book Workshop

Year-round, volunteers at the Book Workshop sort donated books into genre boxes and price them for the sale. It’s a great way to get involved with AAUW and help support our mission.
