AAUW is a non-partisan organization. We encourage civic participation across the political spectrum. The following organizations share our commitment to empowering all citizens to engage in democracy, regardless of party affiliation.
National Organizations
Vote.org
The largest nonpartisan voter registration and get-out-the-vote technology platform in America. Provides online voter registration, absentee ballot applications, polling place lookup, and election reminders.
League of Women Voters
Founded in 1920, a nonpartisan grassroots organization with 800+ local chapters that registers voters, provides voter education through VOTE411.org, hosts candidate forums, and advocates for voting rights at local, state, and national levels.
Rock the Vote
Founded in 1990, the largest nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to building the political power of young people through pop culture, music, and technology to drive voter registration and turnout.
HeadCount
A nonpartisan nonprofit that promotes voter registration at over 1,000 concerts and music festivals each year. Has registered over 1.7 million voters since 2004.
When We All Vote
A national nonpartisan nonprofit that works to close the race and age voting gap by increasing participation in every election through voter registration drives, education, and volunteer engagement.
Nonprofit VOTE
Provides nonpartisan resources and training to help nonprofits integrate voter engagement into their services, focusing on underrepresented populations. Manages National Voter Registration Day.
Fair Elections Center
A national nonpartisan voting rights and election reform organization that works to remove barriers to registration and voting for traditionally underrepresented communities.
Pennsylvania & Local Organizations
League of Women Voters of Centre County
A nonpartisan grassroots organization that empowers citizens to participate in democracy through voter education, voter registration, election guides, and community forums on civic issues in Centre County, Pennsylvania.
Fair Districts PA
A nonpartisan, volunteer-led statewide coalition working to end gerrymandering in Pennsylvania by advocating for an independent citizens redistricting commission. Founded in 2016, it receives no funding from PACs or political parties.
Education Voters PA
A nonpartisan policy and advocacy organization established in 2007 that works to ensure elected officials adopt and implement a pro-public education agenda in Pennsylvania, with a focus on equitable school funding.
