Grants and Scholarships
AAUW is dedicated to promoting equity and education for women and girls. The AAUW State College Branch supports the goals of providing funds to advance education, research, and self-development for women and to foster equity and positive social change. Each year we fund grants to Centre County non-profits and educational grants and scholarships to deserving women and girls. Applications for grants will be rated based on criteria to achieve these goals.
Deadline to submit Community grant applications is April 1st of each year and the deadline to submit scholarship applications is March 1st of each year.
Community Grants to Centre County Non-profits
Applicants must be non-profit (501C3) organizations located in Centre County, Pennsylvania and must include women and serve women and girls who reside in the county. The primary thrust of the organization's project must be educational. Applications must be submitted by the organization that will conduct the proposed program.
Educational Grants and Scholarships
The State College Branch presents grants and scholarships to deserving women each year. The purpose of these grants is to support women who, at some point, have interrupted their academic work for at least two years and who wish to resume or continue their studies at this time.
